Australia and New Zealand are privileged to preside over several sub-Antarctic islands including the Auckland Isles, Campbell Island, and Macquarie Island. These islands host many thousands of sea birds and seals, as well as the famous 'megaherbs'. These cool, southerly islands contrast with much of the rest of Australia, connecting us to Antarctica.
