Wilkins' Rock Wallaby
Petrogale wilkinsi NT, Northern Territory, Top End
A shy young rock wallaby approaches a remote camera trap hidden deep in a sandstone gorge system. These elusive creatures were described in 2014, formerly having been considered a part of a more widespread species. Wilkins' rock wallabies are found in appropriate rocky parts of the northern Top End.
