Northern Blue-Tongue Lizard
Tiliqua scincoides intermedia
As with many other species, there is plenty of anecdotal evidence that these lizards have declined in the Top End following the arrival of cane toads. Today they do appear to be thin on the ground, with a few known hotspots. This one was found trundling along through coastal forest leaf litter on a humid night in 2018.
