This image shows an adult male rock wallaby exploring the heights above a deep sandstone gorge at dawn. These elusive creatures were described in 2014, formerly having been considered a part of a more widespread species. Wilkins' rock wallabies are found in appropriate rocky parts of the northern Top End.
